Ivy Research Link provide unparalleled research experience for medical- students and graduates so they can achieve higher chance of matching in to residency training positions in the U.S. The range of research activities at Ivy Research Link is broad and deep. Ivy Research Link scholars conduct research in almost every field, with the vision to expand human knowledge through analysis, innovation, and insight. Our Ivy league physician/scientist take on medical/dental, students, college students and/or graduates and teach knowledge about scientific research, statistics, provide them with a research project, supervise them throughout the project and assist them to publish their results. After completion of the program, the student will receive a certificate and if the they perform well, they will also receive a strong letter of recommendation for their future endeavors.

Dr. Rasikh Tuktamyshov became the Executive Program Director of Ivy Research Link in January 2017. With more than 14 years in the medical and research field, he helps to ensure that quality and value of Ivy Research Link’s research program is continuously offered, sustained and innovated to accepted candidates. Dr. Tuktamyshov is a board certified attending physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale School of Medicine medical and the Medical Director of the Step-Down Unit at Yale New Haven Health System. He is an Assistant Clinical professor at Yale School of Medicine an involved in teaching the residents and medical students at Yale. He has been an active research scientist at the Schalper lab at Yale University for many years where the focuses of his research is on understanding the immunobiology of human solid tumors and develop molecular biomarkers for prediction of response or resistance to therapies. He has published several peer-reviewed publications and presented abstracts at national meetings.

Dr. Tuktamyshov graduated from Kazan State Medical University, one of the highest ranked medical schools in Russia. He graduated residency training in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, CT, currently a part of Yale School of Medicine. During his residency training, Dr. Tuktamyshov was honored the Medical Staff President’s Award for academic performance and his research project. He has supervised many foreign medical graduates and assisted them into getting in to the highly competitive medical residency training system in America. He is a member of the American College of Physicians.

He has been involved in international and tropical health and volunteered to work as a physician in Africa, primarily taking care of HIV patients. He is actively involved with Clinical Tutor Program at Yale School of Medicine and teaches students as part of their pre-clinical training.
